Strengthening Cyber Defenses: CySI’s Seminar at IDFC First Bank

On March 16, 2024, Balu Swaminathan, Secretary of the Cyber Society of India (CySI), led a dynamic half-day session at the IDFC First Bank Ltd conference room in Chennai. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., approximately 35 attendees, predominantly bankers from IDFC First Bank Ltd, delved into critical topics such as Cyber Security, Bank Frauds, Financial Frauds, and Land/Property Frauds.
The session, held at the Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Amarasri Building, No. 455 Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai 600018, provided tailored insights into preventive measures, countermeasures, and investigation techniques relevant to the banking sector. Participants actively engaged in discussions and raised pertinent queries, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Facilitating the event, felicitations were extended by Mr. Ramesh V, National Credit Manager, along with Mr. Harirajan and Mr. Muthukrishnan, Zonal Credit Managers. Mementos were presented by Mr. Ramesh, Mr. Murali, and Mr. Sathish, acknowledging their contributions.
